The General Retention and Disposal Schedule (GRDS) has been out for a few weeks now and it’s possible you might have a few questions. Well, don’t worry, GRK are here to help.
We know with the new GRDS there has been a lot of changes – new numbering, new functions, new format etc. You might be feeling overwhelmed and just don’t know where to start or you have already put the schedule into your recordkeeping systems. Well, we want to hear from you.
On Tuesday 18 October 2016, we will be holding an online event to answer all your GRDS questions.
But to help us with that, we need you to send through all your questions about the GRDS. It can be anything from what does this record class mean, why is the retention period for children changed or I’m having trouble uploading the schedule into my recordkeeping systems. We want to hear anything and everything to help make the transition to the new GRDS as easy as possible.
Can you have all your questions to us before Wednesday 5 October 2016. We will be in touch again after then with all the event details. Please email them to us at rkqueries@archives.qld.gov.au.
Remember, you can contact us via email, telephone (3037 6630), Records Connect, Twitter and LinkedIn.
